Halloween Fun for LMMS

Happy Thursday! It's been raining most of the month in my neck of the woods and fall is creeping into the landscape....leaves are turning yellow, animals are stocking up on food and our nights are dark again, which means the Northern Lights are back! Since I work nights I'm able to see them when they are out and Tues night I got to watch them for the first time this season!

Since my brain is in fall mode I decided to go with a Halloween card this week for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I used this fun image called Polka Dot Pals Hauntly. I just love her spider web dress and the bat in her hair. I wanted to do something different for my background so I pulled out my Ken Oliver Color Bursts, something I haven't touched in quite some time. I shook some yellow, orange and green powder onto my card stock, sprayed it with water, did some blotting here and there and then put my heat gun to it to finish it off. I really like how the background came out!

Make sure and head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog to see what the rest of the DT created and then play along with our Anything Goes Challenge!

  3. That background is amazing and it sounds like it wasn't too difficult to manage - that's a great combo. :) Love seeing some autumn colors come out.
