Since my brain is in fall mode I decided to go with a Halloween card this week for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I used this fun image called Polka Dot Pals Hauntly. I just love her spider web dress and the bat in her hair. I wanted to do something different for my background so I pulled out my Ken Oliver Color Bursts, something I haven't touched in quite some time. I shook some yellow, orange and green powder onto my card stock, sprayed it with water, did some blotting here and there and then put my heat gun to it to finish it off. I really like how the background came out!
Make sure and head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog to see what the rest of the DT created and then play along with our Anything Goes Challenge!
What a cute image and your coloring is superb. I adore this background and would love to give that technique a try in the future. This card really rocks!
ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable Lisa. I really love the background you've created, it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat background is amazing and it sounds like it wasn't too difficult to manage - that's a great combo. :) Love seeing some autumn colors come out.
