As I sat looking at my colored image I got stuck on my layout and wasn't sure how I wanted to proceed. I tried a few different things and didn't like anything so I just left the image on my craft desk and walked away, as sometimes that helps my brain jump start. I started to think about the current Freshly Made Sketch and if I could make it work with this image. I came back to my craft desk Weds afternoon and started playing around with papers and it all finally came together.
After chatting with my 18 yr old son we decided the bottom of the card needed a little something so I added this ribbon I've had in my stash forever and then I called it good :)
For the colors I think I ended up with more of an orange-peach color, and I brought that color in with some of the leaves and then the DSP. The yellow is also colored on the leaves and brought in on the circle DSP. The blue violet is the card base, the boot and the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by!
