Getting Girly with Friday Mashup

This weeks challenge at The Friday Mashup is brought to us by Kasey and here is what she has to say:

Last time I bought you a masculine sketch mashup so this time I thought I'd go all girly, it seems like I'm seeing a lot of Chirstmas cards starting to appear on blogs and challenges so here is your chance to get back to creating with lovely ribbons, lace, bling and pretty girly colours before you go all out on the red and green.

The mash up is to use your favourite technique, so if you like embossing, or using alcohol inks or shaving cream or rock n roll stamping, die cuts - Whatever it is, use it on your girly project and enter the challenge.

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge :

Make a project featuring "A Girly Theme".
Or Make a project using "Your Favorite Technique".
Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Girly project using your Favorite Technique

Well, Kasey did mention Christmas cards and thats what I went with, but although there is some red I think I went pretty girly with the addition of pink, pearls and scallops!I used some retired DSP and for my favorite technique I did spotlighting(and some watercoloring too).

I'm glad I got it done earlier in the week, in between snow storms, because right now I'm surrounded by a winter wonderland and I admit it, I would much rather be out in the snow than in the house stamping! LOL

Now dont be like me, ROFL...head over to the Friday Mashup blog and play along with us! We love seeing everyones creations every week!

My backyard right now :)

  8. Hi Lisa, Interesting take on the spotlight technique, using a square rather than a spot! Yes it passes for Girly, lol.

Snow is just so unreal for me, starting to swelter in humid conditions here in the tropics. Enjoy your snow!
