Happy Retirement

It's time for a new challenge over at the Sunday Stamps blog and this week we have a fun sketch from Claire!

A good friend of mine requested a card for her brother who retired last week. I went through my stash and decided to use this older image from Heather Ellis, the artist who does the Pure Innocence images for MFT. It's a digital image I got from her when her Etsy shop was open.

I also used some retired SU DSP for this card. What can I say, I'm a hoarder LOL I love these darker, more masculine colors, and thought they would be perfect for this card. The sentiment is from a SugarPea Designs set,

Make sure you head on over to the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the rest of the DT created and then join in and play along with our sketch! We'd love to see how you interpret it.

  1. Lisa, you know I love PI stamps. I have never seen this one! I need to borrow it and make a card for my Sweetie! He always reads the paper. I love your coloring and the DSP is perfect! I am a paper hoarder, too! Your friend's brother will cherish this card! Hope you are having a great week, My Friend! XX
