Going Nautical for Friday Mashup

Happy Friday! Thanks to the power of the net this post is scheduled to post while I am in Colorado. If all has gone well I will have surprised my cousin at her bachelorette party Thurs night, as she thinks I'm flying in Friday!

I'm the hostess this week at Friday Mashup and I want to see a nautical theme! I also want to see one layer cards, lets keep it simple shall we?

For my card I used The Open Sea set and combined some of the images together in the middle of the card. To help get a bit more depth I water colored around the images of the globe and the compass. My daughters boyfriend just turned 19 and so this card will go to him next week when I get home and we celebrate his special day.

I hope you'll come by The Friday Mashup and join in the fun!

  1. Create a project using a "Nautical Theme".
  2. Create a "One Layer Card".
  3. Or mash it up and create a project with the "One Layer Card with a Nautical Theme".

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Naturals White, Night of Navy
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy
Accessories: Blender Pen, Round Corner Punch
