Mothers Day for Sunday Stamps

A friend of mine ordered a Mothers Day card from me and told me any colors, just cut loose and come up with whatever I wanted and the sketch over at Sunday Stamps was the perfect starting point!

I absolutely adore the Everyday Enchantment DSP, I bought 2 packs from the SU clearance rack, and I wanted to use it on this card. I just love the colors and designs of the papers. I used the retired set Upsy Daisy and carried over the colors from the DSP, using Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade for the flowers and sentiment. I added a scalloped border with some piercing along the bottom and some sponging for a little extra definition around the edges.

I'm really excited to bring the card to my friend tomorrow to see what she thinks of it!

Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Gotta love it when you've got 'carte blanche' when creating something for someone - what a wonderful card. That DSP is one of my favourites and I love the flags. The bottom border is awesome. Nice to see you at Sunday Stamps this week, Lisa :)
