The challenge is create a Christmas card that incorporates bling, glitter, glitz, gems, shimmer, or anything sparkly. This made me pause because I am not good at adding any of that stuff, so it took me a while to figure out how I was going to do this.
I ended up going with a Christmas moose I stamp I have and I grabbed some S.E.I. paper that I had in my stash(it's hard to see but the paper has shimmer), adding some SU Cherry Cobbler glitter paper for a final touch. On the stamp the moose has 2 ornaments hanging from its rack...I took 2 glitter brads from SU and used those as ornaments, instead of coloring in the image. I also added SU Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the present next to the moose. Hopefully all of this is enough for the bling!
This is fantastic, Lisa! Just the right amount of bling and glimmer!
ReplyDeleteI think you rocked the sparkle ... I really love those fun ornaments hanging from his antlers ... so very glad you joined us at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhhhhhh how i ***LOVE*** this one, you can never go wrong with moose and bling for xmas... at least YOU never can!!! so completely awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words! Made me blush! I love dropping by here and seeing your moose creations and your take on the snowy life you lead. And the card? Oh MY! I love it! What a delight this will be to receive through the post for one lucky recipient. The glitter brads are the most perfect decoration for this cutie and the red glitter paper is fantastic - I obviously need to get more glitter paper. I adore this card Lisa and was thrilled to see you in the list - you are my clean and simple card guru so I love that you blinged up so much! Thanks so much for joining in on my prompt over at Jingle Belles :-) !!
