Butterfly Thoughts

My supervisor and I are pretty good friends and while talking the other night at work he asked if I would make a card for him. He is going through a divorce but has found romance with a gal that also works for the same place as we do and they are SO cute together. He really likes her and wanted a card that would help express his feelings. Butterflies have a special meaning for them so that's what I wanted to center my card around.

I used the retired set Upsy Daisy. This stamp is just so pretty and I thought of it instantly to go with the butterfly theme. I kept the colors cool, using Pool Party, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip. I really liked how it turned out and when I sent a preview via text to my supervisor he seemed pretty happy with it so that makes me happy!

(sorry the pic isn't the best....got some glare due to the setting sun and I dont have time right now to try and take more shots!)

  1. Oh, this is sooo pretty Lisa! Love the colors, flower stamp and the oh so pretty butterflies. I'm sure your supervisor will be very happy with it. I just want to stare at your card and drink it all in. Maybe because it has been cold here the last few days and raining. I'm not yet ready for the the damp cold and rain.
