Getting Sketchy with Sunday Stamps

Holly has a great sketch this week on Sunday Stamps. Nice and CAS, I love it!

This morning when I woke up and checked my Facebook I found out a mutual friend of Holly and I's got engaged last night in WA state, and so she was the inspiration behind today's card. It's definitely more girly than I usually make but being a bride is usually about being girly though right :0)

Did you know that June is the most popular month for weddings? Yep, its true! Guess I stayed true to form by being different and getting married in February(18.5 yrs ago!), which isnt even in the top 10 for wedding months, lol. We'll have to see what month our friend chooses :)

Make sure you head over to Sunday Stamps and check out this weeks challenge, and word on the blog strip is that Holly will be introducing design team members, plus is also still looking for folks for the DT, so go check it out!

  2. Using the gray keeps it from being frilly, girly and the pearls and scallops give it an elegant feminine look. Beautiful, Lisa!

  4. I did not know the most popular month for weddings was June :) This is a fantastic wedding card. Love the precise cutting around the dress and hanger (you must have a VERY steady hand)! Beautiful colours.
