Christmas Music with Jingle Belles

Yep, another Christmas card for today!

Its time for a new challenge over at the Jingle Belles blog and this week we are to "create a card (or gift card holder, or whatever else you'll be needing for the holidays) that incorporates music, that is inspired by a holiday song, or that includes a holiday song title."

I was so happy to see this challenge because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas music! I listen to it all year round....just the other day I was listening to some Michael Buble and Straight No Chaser Christmas albums. It's a good thing I work alone, I would probably drive my co-workers crazy...or make them realize that Christmas music all year is a good thing :0)

I used one of my favorite sets, A Christmas Carol. Unfortunately it didn't seem to be very popular with others and retired pretty quickly. I think its a great set, but I love images of an old-fashioned Christmas.

If you have been to my blog recently you may recognize the sketch. It's from last weeks Friday Mashup challenge.
Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: A Christmas Carol
Paper: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, pattern paper from Hobby Lobby
Ink: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Bravo Burgundy, Night of Navy
Accessories: Blender Pen, Cherry Cobbler ribbon, dimensionals

  1. oof, i cannot imagine WHY that set was not bought by EVERYONE... it's gorgeous and soooooooooo perfect for a million different types of holiday card! (but then *I* love vintage holiday style too!!!) brilliant job on both the sketch and the music aspect, missus... i love the idea of combining MULTIPLE sheet music prints together with such a nice variety of scale and color that it reads as "neutral" but with lots of personality! ♥♥♥ well done, you!
