2 Card Tuesday

Managed to get 2 cards done today. Its my last day off of work before switching to days for the summer, and I'll be working 10 hr days so my crafting time is seriously going to disappear the next 2 months. However my friend Holly is bringing back her Sunday Stamps challenge so I wanted to make sure I played along with the first one, which is a color challenge this week.

The color challenge is for the colors Pool Party, Sahara Sand and Wisteria Wonder. I am cool with the first 2 colors but I cannot stand purple, so working that in was a bit hard for me but I did it! Head over to Holly's blog to check out the new challenge!

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Up in the Air
Paper: Sahara Sand, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Whisper White Ribbon, Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots EF, Paper Piercer, Dazzling Details

My 2nd card uses the sketch from this weeks Friday Mashup challenge. I said before I loved it...this is my 3rd card in a week using the sketch! However this one isn't masculine as its going to one of my sons interpreters to thank her for all she did for him in high school.

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Take it to Heart
Paper: Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Attic Boutique DSP
Ink: Black StazOn, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Big Shot, Framelits Hearts Collection, Calypso Coral Ribbon, Everyday Enchantment Brads, Blender Pen, Dazzling Details, Dimensionals

  1. I love your Sunday Stamps card... Great use of the purple! Wisteria Wonder is my fav purple that we carry.. I really like how you used the sketch too in your second card.. I love this sketch, going in the reuse pile for use.

Thanks for playing along with Sunday Stamps.

  2. Love both cards but the first one is my favorite. I love purple but I find I rarely use it in my crafting. Funny but true. Hope you enjoy the long Alaskan summer days. I find that I really miss those long days.
