Polar Bear Love in March

Whew! It's been a non-stop week with me between activities with the kids, work, playing in the snow, editing photos, etc but I found some time today to play with the Merry Monday challenge. It's a nice simple sketch with a square and a rectangle, my favorite!

Speaking of favorites, for this card I used of one my most loved sets, Cold and Cuddly. I just adore the images in this set and today I used the sweet polar bear. I tried to make it look like he was sitting on the ice, his paw out to catch falling snowflakes! I also went into my stash of retired paper and DSP, using Wintergreen DSP(another fav of mine) and Soft Sky cardstock. Cherry Cobbler was added for a "splash" of color. I kept the card really clean and simple, I didnt want it too busy....if you have ever seen polar bears in their natural habitat its very clean and stark.

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Cold and Cuddly, sentiment from Comfort & Joy
Paper: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Wintergreen DSP
Ink: Soft Sky, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Sponge, Dimensionals, Dazzling Details
