It's time for another Friday Mashup challenge and this one happens to be the challenge that won our Fan Favorite contest. This week we are supposed to make a project and incorporate colorful twine or create a project featuring kites. The stamp set "Send Me Soaring" in the Occasions Mini is perfect for this challenge!
I love this weeks sketch over at The Paper Players so I used that as my starting point for this card and just went from there(and I'm getting the card in just under the wire for their challenge, whew!). Even though I am not happy about spring and all my snow melting I think I did a good job bringing a spring vibe to this card! I'm also not a big fan of twine but I did manage to incorporate some on my card!
So here is the Friday Mashup:
- Make a project using "Colorful Twine".
- Or Make a project featuring "Kites".
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with " Kites and Colorful Twine".
Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Send Me Soaring
Paper: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Attic Boutique DSP
Ink: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Basic Black
Accessories: 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug, Early Espresso Bakers Twine, Paper Piercing Tool, sponge, dimensionals
