Lisa here! Guess what? Yep, thats right! Its Friday and time for another Friday Mashup challenge! I am SO excited to bring this weeks challenge to you all. I live in Alaska and everyday I marvel at the extreme nature that surrounds me. I can be found outdoors all year round, just enjoying every thing Mother Nature has for us here. So this week I want all of you to make nature inspired cards OR just make us a card with some form of embossing on it, as I'm a big fan of embossing also. So here we go:
1. Make a card inspired by nature
2. Make a card with embossing on it somewhere
Here is the card I came up with it. Its TOTALLY me...the trees, the colors and of course, my favorite, moose! As you can see I MASHed it up and did both nature and embossing, dry and heat. The card base is embossed with the CB folder Distressed Stripes, and then I used a copper color to heat emboss the moose.

ReplyDeleteI seriously love this!! Hubby and I are traveling west for vacation...lots of national parks. This gets me in the mood for the great outdoors!

Great challenge Lisa! This is one of my favorite sets and I never thought about embossing the moose. I'm going to have to dig it out now! Love that EF too!
