No DSP For Me

Or for any card made for the Jingle Belles challenge this week! The challenge comes from Jess Moyer and we're told "I've loved playing along with Jingle Belles and each week looking through my Christmas crafting supplies I realized I have lots of random embellishments that I bought during after Christmas sales that don’t necessarily match up with patterned paper, but I still adore. So I thought why not make a card with just embellishments and no patterned paper and my challenge was born."

Well, apparently my memory isnt that great because re-reading that challenge I noticed the whole thing about using embellishments and well, I didnt, LOL. I did however get the part of no DSP done, so I guess I got half the challenge right!

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Fireside Christmas, Background Basics
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Black StazOn, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Accessories: SU Watercolor Crayons, Blender Pen, Sponge, Dimensionals

  1. Love the coloring of that pretty little fireplace scene ... such a perfect sentiment too ... so glad you joined our jingle belles fun.

  2. This is great! Love the holly berries! I am behind on my 2011 Christmas cards already! Better get going!

  3. naaaaaaaaah! you got the whole thing right! the "no DP" was the crucial factor, and open to ANY interpretation, and yours is excellent! i love the image you've chosen (& so brilliantly colored in!) and the matted & stamped cardstock panels... everything about this is JUST RIGHT...and totally ♥FAB♥!

  4. hey Lisa, I wish I could stamp this well! this is gorgeous and so warming with that pretty image! love it.

  5. Lovely! This is perfect for the challenge at JB. Great card :)

  6. Love your card. The coloring that you did for the fireplace is amazing. Perfect
