Going Vintage

Well, I attempted to anyway. This weeks challenge over at the Jingle Belles blog is to go vintage, connect with Christmas Past. I grew up in MA and when I think of vintage I get images of Norman Rockwell. I LOVE his winter and Christmas images. However, I couldnt quite bring that sort of thing to life so this is what I came up with, a CAS card, lol.

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Winter Post, sentiment from Bells and Boughs
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Deck the Halls DSP
Ink: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler(inside sentiment, not shown)
Accessories: Always Artichoke brads, Early Espresso ribbon, sponge, Scallop Border Punch, dimensionals

  1. I adore those ice skaters ... and the post-mark is such a great touch ... thanks for going vintage with us at jingle belles.

  2. I think you've nailed the challenge - such a vintage image and softly coloured. Love your card!
