Mittens in August

Yes, I am still here and stamping. The middle of July I made an emergency trip to the lower 48 to be with my dad, who was seriously ill. He is a tough guy though and was able to come home from the hospital a few days before I flew back to Alaska, yeahhh!

Since I've been back I've been busy with work and getting the kids ready for school and just wasnt in a stamping mood. Today I made myself sit down and get some cards done, to have some me time.

This card was created for the Clean and Simple Challenge on Splitcoast, which was a sketch based on a members card. I went with a Christmas card because I've been slacking this yr and just dont have as many made as I usually do.

The card base is Whisper White and I used Garden Green DSP for the background. The main image is stamped in Whisper White with a Garden Green and Riding Hood Red layer behind it. The Garden Green cardstock was cut with the scallop edge punch.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Small Script, Many Mittens Wheel
Paper: Whisper White, Garden Green DSP and Cardstock, Riding Hood Red
Ink: Black, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Copic Markers( R59,E29,G28), SU markers, Scallop Border Punch
