Slim Christmas Greetings

It's time for some Friday Fun with Power Poppy! Once again I'm also combining my Friday Fun card with the current Creative Confetti challenge for double the fun :)

I've been making Christmas cards all month so I knew I wanted to stay with the Christmas theme and Barbara's Creative Confetti challenge of creating a slimline card was the perfect reason to create my first ever slimline Christmas card!

I used a die from Whimsy Stamps to create my multi window slimline panel and since I wanted to showcase a bunch of smaller Christmas shapes I decided to use the Power Poppy clear set Merry Littles. After grabbing the set I pulled various stamps from the set to mix and match to see what combo's I liked. After I got that figured out I thought about how I wanted to perk up the plain white background and since I have a drawer full of Distress Oxides I've never used I decided to really change it up and use some of those to create my background!

I don't have any stamping mask paper so I just stamped my images on post it notes, cut them out and then covered up my stamped images. I then used a junk piece of paper to test out ink combos and decided on a green and red combo that I felt worked well together (Festive Berries and Peeled Paint). After getting my image panel colored the way I wanted I got out a paintbrush and flicked water all over the ink, dried it and then added white dots with a gel pen. I then attached my image panel to the slimline die panel and put that on an olive green card panel. The sentiment is from the clear set Botanical Tree  (currently on sale for $9.00! Once sold out it will be retired so get it while you can!) and was stamped in an olive green. I popped up 2 of the images just for some extra dimension, the poinsettia on the top portion and the mitten on the bottom half. To finish it all off I used Wink of Stella on all the images for some sparkle.
