It's Friday and along with some Power Poppy Friday Fun I'm also playing along with this weeks Creative Confetti Challenge.
It's Christmas in July! Hallmark Channel is playing Christmas movies, I've been listening to Christmas music in my craft room and so it's time to make some Christmas cards!
This weeks Creative Confetti is to Rock Your Mojo and search for an inspiration source. That was easy, I went to the Power Poppy sketches Pinterest board. Layouts are the bane of my existence and so I love checking out the board for inspiration. I ended up going with this fun sketch with a few layers but is still simple.
For my card I used the set Snuggle Down. I LOVE plaid, if I could have everything plaid I would be in heaven but my husband would probably vomit LOL He doesn't share my feelings on plaid unfortunately. This set has stripes to help you create your own plaid and then the images are just fabulous....one features blankets, a lantern and sleigh bells and the image I used features plaid Thermoses. Yes please!!
I colored my image in with traditional colors and my patterned paper stayed pretty traditional also.

So incredibly fun Ms. Lisa! And I had to laugh that you are really living out the Christmas in July! Only you. Only you! LOL! I say this as I am about to go sit out in the 90 degree heat. Sigh. I love it! Having said that, your card is darling and so smart to get ahead of the Christmas time creating rush!
