Gather Together

It's time for a new challenge over at the Sunday Stamps blog and this week we have a fun color challenge featuring some lovely rich autumn colors. Thankfully Stampin Up has some DSP that matches perfectly so I grabbed that paper and went from there.

My layout comes from the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I decided to use the wood pattern from the DSP for my background, bringing in the dark brown color from the color palette. Then I used a strip of paper that features the deep red color and a hint of the orange. I stamped a leaf in Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso and die cut that out, then cut some smaller leaves out. I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and used a circle punch to cut it out. After getting my leaves the way I wanted them I then adhered the circle with the sentiment on it above them, using dimensionals.

Make sure you head over to Sunday Stamps to see what the rest of the DT created (several of us were thinking the same way with the DSP!) and then play along with us, we'd love to see how you use these colors. Don't forget to stop by and play along with Freshly Made Sketches also, there is still time to join in there!
