Sketchy Sets for Friday Mashup

This week at The Friday Mashup Amy has a great sketch for us. It's a wonderful way to show off some of your favorite DSP, along with your image! She also wants us to create a set of cards with this sketch and well, I came close! I managed to get 2 cards done, but haven't had time to make anymore. Between work, pre-graduation activities and life in general I haven't had much crafting time this week.

I decided to go with a masculine theme and pulled out some of my favorite DSP that I've been hoarding, Well Worn. I just love these papers! I think I may cry a bit when I run out of it, lol.

I made a card that can be a general congratulations or also for a graduation, and then I made a birthday card. I really love how they came out and a friend of mine snatched them right up and bought them for her son!

Make sure you head over to The Friday Mashup to see all the other great inspiration from the rest of the design team!

How many other crafters have this problem? Darn Calliope just HAS to check out what I'm doing!

  1. That is the BEST paper to use for a set of cards! It goes with so many sayings. Love your little tortie!!! I have the same problem.

  4. Great pair of card Lisa - its always useful to have masculine cards to hand and the papers you've used are perfect! Love the pic of your kitty interfering with your photography lol! They do seem to get into mischief wherever possible (my two boy cats love to play with my sponge daubers... I have to hide them VERY carefully!)
