Graduating For Friday Mashup

Another week has come to a close and that means its also time for a Friday Mashup challenge! This week Liliana brings us the challenge and its all about graduation and embossing of any kind.

I was really happy to see the theme for this week as I need a lot of graduation cards right now! My daughter graduates from high school May 16th! She actually graduated early, in December, but she walks with her class and makes it official on the 16th. Her boyfriend, who lives across the Valley and goes to a different high school, graduates on the 14th. So between my daughter, her boyfriend and their friends I have a lot of cards to make!

For the challenge I started with my daughters card. Her school colors are red and black, so that's what I used on the card. I did dry embossing with the hexagon EF and I used my Cricut for the '2013'.

I cant believe she is graduating high school and starting college (University of Alaska-Anchorage!) in the fall. It seems like just yesterday she was going to preschool!

Make sure you head over to the Friday Mashup blog to check out all the great inspiration from the rest of the design team!
