Sending Love for The Paper Players

I've been trying to squeeze in the current Paper Players challenge all week and finally got a moment this afternoon, just squeaking in! It's a theme this week, "Love is in the Air".

I decided to pull out this image from the retired set Wandering Words. I have used the Christmas image from the set but not this Valentine themed one and I thought of it the minute I saw the challenge. The hearts floating out of the mailbox are a perfect way to represent love in the air.

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Wandering Words(retired)
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Whisper White, Orchard Harvest DSP
Ink: Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice EF, Cuttlebug Seeing Spots EF, blender pen, sponge, dimensionals

  1. Gorgeous! This card is incredible! I love the pop of Gumball Green... with that texture it looks like grass! So cool! Great idea to put the panels of Midnight Muse - it adds great interest. What technique did you use to create the grass around the mailbox? It looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!! Have a wonderful day :)

  2. Lisa, I haven't seen this set for a while - thank you for reminding me of how great it is! I love your masculine color scheme, the embossed layers and the sponging around the focal layer. So glad you shared this "love"ly card with the Paper Players this week
