January:
Yep, it's got a moose on it AND it's a Christmas card, my two favorite things. I just love the paper I used and the texture. I am definitely going to make a similar card to this in 2013 for my Christmas card stash!
February:
This card was created using a color challenge from The Paper Players and a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches and I just loved the color combo. This was a great sketch to let the DSP and simple sentiment take center stage.
March:
Ohhhh this was a tough one for me to choose, as there were a couple cards for March that I was really pleased with. I finally decided to go with this one. I love the colors, how the quilted technique came out, etc. My SIL ended up buying this card and sending it to her mom shortly after they lost their grandma/mom, as butterflies were loved by her. Made me feel good that in a small way I could help bring some comfort to them during a time of loss.
April:
This was another tough choice for me, it was another month of cards I was really happy with, but I decided to choose this one. I like the colors and papers I used and I like how CAS it is.
May:
Another CAS choice for the month of May. I love the black and yellow together and the simple sketch lets the image take center stage.
June:
I'm going with a Christmas card for June. I love the colors, the layout...just everything about how this card come together.
How fun to see these again, Lisa! I'll never tire of that moose and hope to see lots of him in the coming year! Thanks for all the inspiration. I always look forward to your posts! Have a happy and healthy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLove all your cards! Lovely choice of colors on all of them and I adore the two tone moose and the patchwork quilt is amazing.
