Sketchy Vintage with Friday Mashup

Happy Friday to everyone! I hope you have had a great week. Mine has been wonderful, lots to smile about and be thankful for!

Todays Friday Mashup is brought to us by Kasey and she is giving us a sketch to work with, plus she also wants us to make give our projects a shabby chic or vintage feel. Thats really not my type of thing so I had a tough time with that portion of the Mashup and I dont know if I really captured it or not, but at least I tried right :)

Now make sure you head on over to The Friday Mashup and play along with us and dont forget, you can still submit your ideas for the Fan Favorite Challenge! The link is open until Feb.22nd!
  1. Make a project using the "Sketch".
  2. Or Make a "Shabby Chic / Vintage" project.
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Shabby Chic/Vintage project using the Sketch".

  1. Lisa,

While this style may not be your usual go to style, you've nailed it with this card. Vintage and shabby doesn't HAVE to have flowers!

I love what you've done here.

    Cheers,

  2. LOL I think we are of the same mind. I always pull out my cutter kit and sponges when I see vintage. :) I think you did a great job! I love the colors and the distressing.

  3. Vintage isn't my go to style either although I appreciate it when it's done by others. This looks vintage to me and I love that sweet scooter.

  6. Congratulations of the Designer Highlight Card. This weeks sketch card is very cute too.
I wanted to say thank you for your kind words and wishes for my brother. I read your post concerning your father and the heartfelt moment at your fathers passing. We pray for a miracle but maybe God has other plans. So we pray for God's will and be prepared for whatever this may be.
    Kindly,
    Patrice
