Butterflies for Sunday Stamps

I've been wanting to play along with the Sunday Stamps challenge all week but got knocked down by a nasty cold. I happened to see that the link was going to close in a little over a day so I grabbed the tissues and cough meds and sat down to do some stamping!

I decided to go ahead and use butterflies on my card, mimicking the sketch, and then I used my 1 3/8" square punch to cut out some squares from the Gingham Garden DSP to make a quilted card. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP
Ink: Island Indigo
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice EF, Embosslits Beautiful Wings, Island Indigo Ribbon, White Gel Pen

Celebrating 100 FM Challenges!

Wow, it's our 100th challenge over at The Friday Mashup blog! How awesome is that? To celebrate this milestone this weeks challenge is to go back and pick your favorite out of the previous Mashup's and do that challenge again! And to thank YOU, the folks that play along with the Mashup, one lucky person is going to win a $25.00 gift certificate to Stampin'Up as a way to say thank you!

I decided to go back to challenge #51, quilted cards and using something forgotten from your stash. I pulled out a sympathy set that I haven't used in a while because sadly, one of mine and Holly's friends lost her dad a few days ago.

Make sure you head over to The Friday Mashup and play along for your 100th Mashup Challenge!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:

1. Make a project using "Your Favorite Challenge 1-99".
2. or Tell us what you like about the Challenge You picked!
3. or Link up for a Chance to win a "$25 Stampin' Up! Gift Certificate".

Rules for Giveaway* You must Link up with an original project created for this challenge. Please provide a Link back to the Mashup in your Post. One entry per person in drawing for GC.

Get your Quilt On with Friday Mashup!

It's Lisa here, with you on the first Friday of Spring and bringing you another Friday Mashup! Once again I'd like to thank those crafters who played along with our 50th challenge celebration, we really appreciate everyone who takes the time to sit down and play along with the Friday Mashup.

I've been seeing a lot of quilted cards lately and since I had never done one myself I thought it would be the perfect challenge. There are many ways to do this technique and if you don't care for the Splitcoast tutorial we're posting than just Google "quilted card" and you'll get all kinds of results!

To go along with the quilted card I want everyone to pull something out of their stash that they had forgotten about. Yep, that's right, dig through the dust, look under piles and find some treasure that you just had to have but somehow it got pushed to the side! Spring cleaning in a sense :)

For my card my forgotten items are: retired Mistletoe Ribbon and the use of a sentiment from the retired set Warmest Regards.

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
