Hope Your Day Blooms

I'm stuck home getting over COVID ( I had a very mild case, nothing too serious compared to what others have dealt with) and today I finally had some energy to go into my craft room and create. I decided to play along with Freshly Made Sketches since the current challenge ends Monday at noon.

For my card I used an image from a retired Power Poppy set called Bloomin' Wonderful. I just love this simple image that captures the beginning of spring so perfectly (not that I'll see any color for a while, we still have 2 ft of snow at my place!). I colored it with copics and then used a die from MFT to cut the paper similar to how the sketch is. It's not quite the same but I think it's close enough that you can still see the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is such a pretty card! I love how you've created the wavy part and those flowers are just gorgeous! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Ooh, I love the voluptuous curve on your card. The purple layer peeking out and the floral spray are so beautiful! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. So sorry to hear you had Covid, but glad you have recovered. Love the card, the curves and the flowers are beautiful. Take Care. Jeanette, New Zealand
