Singing Loud

Happy Sunday! It's time for a new challenge over at the Sunday Stamps blog and this week we have a fun sketch from Heather to work with!

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year and I collect Christmas movies. One of my favorite movies is Elf so of course when I saw this stamp set in the SU holiday catalog that featured a quote from the Elf movie I had to have it! I sing nice and loud at Christmas but considering how awful my voice is I don't know if it brings cheer to those around me 😆

I adore this new DSP called Trimming the Town! I think it is just perfect with all the designs and colors. I thought this sheet with all the people on it would be a nice background for a singing quote and then the red with the polka dots was a nice contrast, plus it worked for the 3 dots in the sketch. The 2 thin lines in the sketch called for some blue DSP, which matches the blue on the main background image. This was a fun and simple card to throw together quickly!

Make sure to head on over to the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the rest of the DT created and then play along with us, we'd love to see how YOU interpret the sketch!

  1. I hadn't noticed the sentiment, and sorry I don't know my Christmas movie quotes well enough. Love how you put this card together!
