Sending Sunny Vibes

Whew! I know it's been a bit between posts but my mojo seems to have gone and disappeared. Being on day shift seems to have sucked out all of my creativity....when I get home from work I need to get chores done and then I am just too tired to go play in my craft room. I'm taking the last week of May off to give myself a mental break so hopefully I'll get back into stamping everyday!

One thing I absolutely had to make time for was Friday Fun over at the Power Poppy blog! I miss playing with my Power Poppy stamps so much. I just got a big order of Power Poppy clear stamps yesterday and my collection is almost complete, wooohooo! If you are like me and cannot resist Power Poppy images they are still on sale for super low prices so hurry on over to the Power Poppy store and grab them while you can!

For this card I used a digital stamp set called Spring Border One. You can also find these images in the Natural Beauties clear set (currently sold out) but I went with digital so I could resize the image to fit the die I was using.

This image definitely gets one thinking about spring! It's still too early to put flowers in the ground here but I've got a bunch potted and I bring them outside everyday to sit in the sun and then I bring them back in at night. Maybe having our living room and dining room overrun with flowers will help my hubby realize that I need a greenhouse :)

  2. Don't work to hard, and take little bit of time off is always good for you. This is springy and pretty. I say your mojo is just fine.

  3. Lisa, I love that you chose this sweet image to share on Friday. It really is so pretty and you did a beautiful job on the coloring. The stitched border die is so cool. I like the effect when one sits inside the other. I still find it very hard to craft in the evenings. My days are full even though I'm retired now.
