Beary Happy Birthday

** 15 yrs ago the U.S. experienced the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor. Today I honor and remember the victims in NYC, Shanksville and Washington D.C. We will never forget**

We have a new challenge at Sunday Stamps today and it's a color challenge with bright colors. I decided to make a winter themed birthday card since I had some of these polar bears colored and ready to go!

My layout is from the current MFT sketch challenge. The banner at the top was perfect for a sentiment and also as a way to incorporate some yellow to go along with the bears scarf and hat. I used a SU TIEF to create the falling snow.

I managed to use almost all of the colors in the graphic, but for the challenge you only have to use at least 3. With the presents it was easy for me to incorporate all of them though.

Head on over to the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the rest of the DT came up with and then play along with us, we'd love to see how you interpret this challenge!

Stamps: Cool Day, Beary Special Birthday (both MFT)
Paper: Island Indigo (SU), Neenah Solar White, Fun and Frolic Paper Pack (MFT)
Ink: Island Indigo (SU). Memento Tuxedo Black
Copics: Presents: RV25, B24, Y13
Polar Bear: B16, Y13, N1, R81
Accessories: Cuttlebug, SU Softly Falling TIEF, MFT Blueprints 27, Dimensionals

  5. Love the primary blues and yellows on your card. Helps tone down these crazy colors a bit. Perfect white space for a very pleasing card!
