Sketchy (missing) Ombre for Friday Mashup

It's Friday again! It's going to be a stressful day for me as I am supposed to have something very important happen tomorrow, that's been a long time in the making. Its not crafted related but it will have a huge impact on my families life so keep your fingers crossed!

Today Lynda is our hostess at The Friday Mashup and she has a fun sketch challenge for us, plus she would like to see the ombre technique. Now, I did attempt the technique but no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to look good with the card I had already come up with so I just skipped the mashup. Sorry Lynda!!

My friend ordered some cards from me, one of them a Mother's Day card for an "artsy" mom, so this is what I come up with. Thankfully she loved it!

  1. Create a project using the "Sketch".
  2. Create a project with the "Ombre' Background Technique".
  3. Or Mash it up and create a project an "Ombre' Background & The Sketch

    Lisa, I totally love your card even if it doesn't have the ombre background on it. Sometimes, you just can't get those challenges to work and that's okay!!

    Awesome artsy Mother's Day card. I love when cards "think outside the box". Every Mother's Day card is floral with HMD on it. Your sentiment says it all. Great card, Lisa!
