Going "Owl" Out for Jingle Belles

Being back on my normal schedule means I have more time to play along with my favorite challenges, and do it in a timely manner! Today I played along with the Jingle Belles, using the great sketch that Stef has for us.

This sketch is a great way to highlight some DSP along with an image and that's what I did here. I used some of the busier paper from Snow Festival and then used my Owl Builder Punch to create an owl that goes along with the paper. I think the owls on the paper are super cute and its not something I would have normally thought of for Christmas,  but I do know a bunch of people who love owls so this Christmas card(I'm going to make several) will be perfect for them!

Supplies used(all supplies SU unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: sentiment from Chock-Full of Cheer
Paper: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Whisper White, Snow Festival DSP
Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Soft Suede
Accessories: Big Shot, Nestabilities Standard Large Circles and Lacey Circles, Owl Builder Punch, sponge, dimensionals

  1. So cute! My 2 year old grandson likes owls so I know he'd love this, too.

  2. How fun is that holiday owl ... love how you alternated the patterns on the base panels too ... always glad to see you join us at jingle belles.

  3. That is really cute! The "main" owl looks like he checking out the guys on the paper! :)

  4. oh ♥WOW♥! how cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute is that?! i looooove the "owl builder punch" and you've kitted yours out quite adorably and of course he matches the papers PERFECTLY, too! ;) even non-owl-lovers would find this fab, but true afficianados will SWOON!!!!
